More of that Badboy!Kurt/Nerd!Blaine I started yesterday. I’m gonna start tagging these as “Comic: You Da One” for tracking or blacklists or whatever (Like the Rihanna song, Kendra? Like the Rihanna song)

Dialogue in the second page inspired in part by Inky’s amazing fic to go with the last set!

tyleroakley:

The writing for 30 Rock will always be better than your favorite show.

Fic: Now We’re All Alone (Klaine)

youmovedmekurt:

Rating: M

Word Count: 5,100

Warnings/Summary: Fill for this prompt on the kink meme: a shy, stumbling, blushing virgin Blaine being pinned down on his bed and ridden by an extremely experienced and confident Kurt.

A/N: Atalya will probably demand acknowledgement for the fact she made me fill this for her. There are sequels to come in a ‘the ways in which Blaine Anderson lost his virginity to Kurt Hummel’ ‘verse, including a whole load of Kurt teaching Blaine how to do sexy things (such as blowjob etc.)

Glee’s Chris Colfer to Promote Land of Stories Book at Barnes & Noble Union Square

Chris Colfer, who is well known for playing Kurt Hummel on the hit FOX series Glee, will make an appearance at Barnes & Noble Union Square (33 East 17th Street) at 7pm on Wednesday, July 18 for a talk and signing of his new book, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell.

The book, which is due to be released on July 17, tells the tale of twins Alex and Conner Bailey, who leave the real world behind, through the mysterious powers of a cherished book of stories, and find themselves in a foreign land full of wonder and magic where they come face-to-face with the fairy tale characters they grew up reading about.

In addition to his work on Glee, for which he received a Golden Globe Award and two Emmy Award nominations, Colfer appeared in the staged reading of Dustin Lance Black’s 8 and wrote and co-starred in the film Struck by Lighting.

Let me talk to you about books.
Specifically, one book. This book.
This book should be a best seller. This book should be required reading for graduating from high school. Before you get that diploma, you read this book.
This book deals with debunking “Neurosexism,” which is a very fancy term for all of that evolutionary psychology bullshit that people spill about those “brain differences” between boys and girls.
This book debunks such myths as:
Boys are better at math than girls
Women make crappy lawyers/business CEOs/etc, as their brains are not cut out for aggression.
Men make crappy counselors/primary school teachers/primary parents/etc, as their brains are not cut out for empathy.
MEN ARE BUILT FOR GOING OUT AND HUNTING WHILE WOMEN ARE BUILT FOR STAYING HOME AND BABYMAKING IT’S NOT SEXISM IT’S JUST BIOLOGY
And many other such myths.
Furthermore, this book covers topics such as:
Neurosexism and gender perceptions in multiple races (as this is not a singularly white experience, just as the western world isn’t a singularly white experience)
Sex discrimination in the workplace, and how women are (or, more often, are not) allowed to behave
How science is used (badly) to support many of these claims
Experiences of trans* people, both through interviews and empirical studies.
AND FINALLY - It is all brilliantly researched, cited, compiled - and it’s easy to read! Cordelia Fine actually manages to be funny while writing this, which I think is important, because it makes all of this information infinitely accessible.
Delusions of Gender has reinforced what Oberlin taught me: The gender binary is stupid and arbitrary, and dangerous. And it is a self-perpetuating bias that needs to be addressed to be overcome.

Everything INTP: Let It Be Known That INTPs Are Not (Really) Assholes

Let it be known that INTPs:

- Are truthful. This means we may value truth and honesty over sadistic lies.
- Are personable. They’re called Ti-Glasses. They let you see all kinds of cool shit without getting emotionally involved.
- Are nice people! Just don’t fuck with or misinterpret their notions!
- Are passionate about their convictions.
- Are uncomfortable with words like “passionate”.
- When underdeveloped, consider emotional investment scary.
- Say or post things that may seem personal, which really aren’t.
